Sugar Kelly began with a single act of care. What started as one woman's determination to help a family friend navigating cancer-related hair loss feel like herself again became the foundation of a brand rooted in dignity, beauty, and purpose. Long before Sugar Kelly became a luxury blow dry and extensions bar, it began with a quiet but powerful understanding: hair is never just hair. It can hold confidence, softness, identity, grief, restoration, and power all at once.
Today, Sugar Kelly is Toronto's premier blow dry bar at Yonge and Eglinton, a luxury hair finishing destination created for the modern woman who values quality, consistency, and genuine care. From our signature finishes to our extension services and bespoke wig care, every offering at our Yonge and Eglinton location is designed to deliver results that feel polished, lasting, and deeply personal.
Our signature finishes, including the Sugar Rush, Executive Edge, Glamour Curl, Coastal Wave, Silk Finish, and Kelly Curls, were developed in-house and shaped by years of hands-on work across some of Toronto's most style-defining neighbourhoods. Each one reflects a distinct mood, a distinct woman, and a distinct standard of finish.

At Sugar Kelly, beauty does not end at the chair.
Kelly Cares is the philanthropic arm of Sugar Kelly, extending our values beyond the salon and into the community. Through Kelly Cares, we use beauty as a conduit for dignity, confidence, community health, and wellness.
Our team brings dignity-centred beauty and wellness programming to hospitals, youth homes, women’s shelters, long-term care facilities, and academic institutions. Every experience we create is designed to foster confidence, joy, connection, and genuine care, because we believe that feeling seen and cared for is not a luxury. Every woman and young person we reach deserves nothing less.
A portion of every Sugar Kelly service helps fund Kelly Cares initiatives, supporting our mission to improve community health and well-being through beauty-based care, confidence-building experiences, and restorative programming. In this way, every appointment becomes part of something larger.
Through Kelly Cares, and in partnership with community organisations, we created FreshSTART™, a dignity-centred grooming and workforce readiness program for women and youth navigating major life transitions. This includes survivors of domestic violence, newcomers entering the Canadian workforce, youth preparing for employment, and individuals rebuilding after housing instability or other significant disruption.
The FreshSTART™ program is referral-based, trauma-informed, and rooted in the belief that professional care, confidence, and dignity should never be treated as luxuries reserved for a few.
